Skuodas Family Social Services Center

The aim of the Skuodas Family Social Services Center is to provide basic and additional social services to children from families at social risk, socially disadvantaged and with social, psychological and other problems, children with disabilities, adults with disabilities, adults with severe disabilities and the elderly in their homes, in crisis situations.

Public Institution Training for the public and staff

Public Institution “Training for the public and staff” – specializes in social and health research, provides training, vocational guidance, non-formal education for young people and schoolchildren to promote healthy lifestyles, and provides mental health services to municipal residents during COVID-19.

Skuodas open youth center

A non-formal education institution that meets the needs of young people, an open and safe space for youth activities. Mission: To improve the quality of leisure employment of young people in Skuodas district municipality, to help strengthen the motivation of young people to participate in active social life, to increase the opportunities for young people to self-realize by applying the principles of open work with youth.

Skuodas District Municipality Physical Culture and Sports Center

KKSC of Skuodas district municipality was established in 1998. The center carries out sports activities for children, schoolchildren, adults and sports veterans, people with disabilities. Provides sports equipment and premises rental services.
Organizes and conducts district championships, traditional sports events and celebrations, as well as eldership and school sports games. The center has basketball, cycling, bobsleigh, judo, motoball, athletics, volleyball, football and arm bending sections.

Skuodas district cultural center

The objectives of the Center are: to satisfy the public interest by carrying out cultural activities for the benefit of society, to foster general, ethnic culture and art; to preserve and nurture the identity of the national culture; to promote creative activity and artistic diversity; to promote youth initiatives and creative pursuits; to establish and maintain contacts with organizations and collectives of various countries; to submit projects and proposals to Skuodas District Municipality, to participate in national and international projects.

Skuodas District Association of the Disabled

The main goal of the organization is to represent and defend the civil, social and economic rights of the disabled, to promote equal opportunities, and to provide the necessary information.

Employment Service (Skuodas Branch)

Tasks of the department: to provide labor market services; to co-operate with the municipalities of the service area, representatives of communities and other labor market partners in solving employment problems; implement active labor market policies and other measures.

Skuodas region community

The aim of the community’s activities is to concentrate the efforts of the community members in finding the most suitable solutions to increase the economic and social well-being of Skuodas district.

Klaipėda District Municipality Public Health Bureau

The main areas of activity of the Bureau are to organize and provide accessible and appropriate public health care services regulated by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal entities to natural and legal persons in the territory of the municipality and other municipalities, if provided for in the cooperation agreement.
